Welcome to day two using a single sheet of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper with the Seaside Bay Cling Stamp Set, coordinating Seaside Bay Dies and Circle Sayings Bundle. A birthday card for my husband! One of our favorite places to spend time together is the beach.
Supplies
- Azure Afternoon Cardstock
- Basic White Cardstock
- Scrap Crumb Cake – for circle and grass
- Azure Afternoon Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Pecan Pie Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls
Cutting
- Using the photo below cut the piece of Fresh As A Daisy DSP as shown, then cut the piece shown in the photo above.
- Cut Azure Afternoon Cardstock in half on the long side to yield two 4 1/4 x 8 1/2 pieces of cardstock – fold and burnish with bone folder.
- Cut a 4 x 5 1/4 piece from Basic White Cardstock for inside sentiment
- Punch circle using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch from Circle Sayings Bundle.
Stamp and Die Cut
- Stamp Happy Birthday from Circle Sayings as shown on the front of the card in Azure Afternoon Ink on the Crumb Cake Circle, then stamp seashells from Circle Sayings set in Pecan Pie Ink.
- Stamp your choice of sentiment on the inside of the Basic White Card.
- Stamp crab and seashells in Azure Afternoon Ink on a scrap of Basic White Cardstock.
- Stamp shells in Flirty Flamingo Ink on a scrap of Basic White Cardstock.
- Die cut stamped images with Seaside Bay Dies and the additional shells shown on the circle from Basic White Cardstock.
- Color the shells shown on the circle with a Blending Brush in Flirty Flamingo Ink.
- Die cut grass using Seaside Bay dies from a scrap of Crumb Cake
- Stamp inside sentiment of your choice on 4 x 5 1/4 Basic White Cardstock
Assembly
- Adhere Fresh As A Daisy DSP piece to the front of the Azure Afternoon card base with dimensionals.
- Add seashells to circle with multi-purpose glue as shown.
- Add circle to the front of the card with dimensionals.
- Position other die cuts as desired then adhere with dimensionals and multi-purpose glue.
- Add Flat Adhesive-backed Pearls as shown.
- Adhere inside sentiment with multi-purpose glue.
- Decorate envelope with stamps from the Seaside Bay Set.
